The first English Issue (December 2012) contains articles on the Cold War in Belgium, on Ruanda, the geographical distribution of high diploma holders in Belgium, the militarization in Belgium between 1870-1914, and historic publications at Flemish universities. It also contains the list of reviews, summaries of recent PhD research, debate sections on the commemorations of World War One (Van Ypersele-De Schaepdrijver-Wouters), Holocaust historiography in Belgium (Saerens) and the section 'Current Issues in Belgian History', in which Chantal Kesteloot and Bruno De Wever provide an overview of scholarly literature on the 'disintegration' of the Belgian nation state.
All the sections are open access downloadable (pdf) via this site (see 'Present Volume').
